Camp Rental

We rent out Camp Menorah for special occasions such as Bar Mitzvahs, Shabbatons, Company Events, or Leadership Retreats.  The Camp is a great place to hold your next gathering!  Call the camp at 781-631-8081 if you are interested in finding out more about this great opportunity.

Rental Costs

• Daytime rental is $500 per day.

• Overnight rental is $500 per night, plus $7 per person per night.

• We require a lifeguard (if you are using the lake) and a Camp Menorah chaperone to be present for all events.  A lifeguard costs $20 per hour (minimum of 4 hours).  A chaperone costs $15 per hour (minimum of 4 hours).

• If you would like to use our Ropes Course, a certified trainer must be present.  Cost to use the Ropes Course equipment is $75 per hour (minimum of 4 hours).  A certified trainer costs $20 per hour (minimum of 4 hours).

• We require a janitorial fee of $150.  In addition, we require a security deposit of $1,000 which will be returned upon complete inspection of the property at the end of the rental period.

Rental Policy

Eight Lights, Inc. takes great pride in providing an excellent camping experience for children at Camp Menorah.  In doing so, we work very hard at ensuring that our property is safe, clean and well maintained.  When renting out the property, we expect that the renter will adhere to the same guidelines.

Cleanliness

The property will be left clean with no trash dispersed.  Bathrooms will be clean upon departure.

Camp Property

The main lodge will be off limits to renters, but the bunks will be made available.  The bathrooms in the upper field will also be available to renters. 

Waterfront

Use of the waterfront requires supervision by a trained Eight Lights lifeguard.  Cost of the lifeguard is listed above.

Ropes Course

The Ropes Course will be made available to renters for a specific period of time.  Use of the course requires supervision by a trained counselor.  Eight Lights will provide a trained counselor for the cost listed above. 

Barbeques

Absolutely no fires are allowed on Eight Light’s property.  Barbeques are permitted in self contained Weber or similar brand grills.  Barbeque equipment is to be provided by the renter.

Overnight Rental

Overnight rental requires supervision by an Eight Lights chaperone.  Overnights begin at 4pm and end at 8am the following day for weekdays.  For weekend overnights, the overnight begins at 4pm and ends at 10am.
